Constance Saltonstall

Among her many roles at Historic Ithaca, Constance Saltonstall served as a project manager for the Clinton House restoration and was vice-president of the Board of Directors. She was a gifted photographer and was the creative force behind early advocacy to save the Boardman House and Clinton House. With Victoria Romanoff, a fellow member of Historic Ithaca, she established Romanoff & Saltonstall, a firm dedicated to renovation for preservation. As artistic partners, they also mounted several exhibitions highlighting architectural heritage in Tompkins County. Historic Ithaca remains committed to the preservation action and advocacy that Connie began nearly 50 years ago.
