Cascadilla Boathouse Restoration Project Video

Updated: Mar 20, 2022

The video is a beautiful tribute to “historic” Ithaca, to Stewart Park and to the Cascadilla Boathouse. The boathouse had an extensive exterior restoration, taking place over six months, ending in October 2021. The partnerships and collaborations made it one of the best projects that we have worked on. Despite the pandemic, supply chain shortages and two major devastating storms, the restoration project was brought in on time.

Many thanks to Jon Reis Photography and videographer Jacob Mroczek who produced and directed the video. Bethany Parisi assisted with the entire production. The 10 -minute video is now on YouTube and we encourage you to watch it! A gift to yourself!

We owe our appreciation to all the partners who worked on this project: NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation with the support of the Governor’s Office and the NYS Legislature; City of Ithaca; Bero Architecture, PLLC; Bouley Associates; Verdigree Collective; TWLA Fisher Associates Landscape Architecture Studio; Friends of Stewart Park; Wharton Studio Museum; Cascadilla Boat Club; Cook Painting and Northern Scapes Lawn and Landscape Services. The individuals from the organizations listed who worked on this project can be seen under the “thank you” slide at the video’s end.
