Join us for free walk and talks and explore the unique places around our county!

Walk and talks last for approximately 45 minutes and are guided by municipal historians from communities throughout Tompkins County. Put on your walking shoes and chat with us!

Meet at the Cornell Botanic Gardens Mundy Wildflower Garden Parking Lot at the intersection of Forest Home Drive and Caldwell Road

June 10
Cayuga Lake and the Town of Ithaca
Meet at East Shore Park near the Cornell Sailing Center on East Shore Drive

June 24
Ludlowville’s Falls, Mills and Community
Meet at Ludlowville Park at the intersection of Ludlowville Road and Mill Street. Parking is available there.

July 8
Cayuga Heights and Sunset Park
Meet at Sunset Park on Sunset Park Drive (off Cayuga Heights Road) in Cayuga Heights.

Ulysses’ County Home Building
Meet at the building (park in driveway) at 3496 Perry City Road to the west of intersection of Perry City Road and Route 96.

Enfield
Meet at Enfield Main St near the Grange Building

August 12
Newfield’s Covered Bridge
Meet at bridge entrance Bridge and Main Streets in Newfield

August 19
Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts (old Baptist church)
Meet at Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts at 5 McLallen Street. Parking is available.
